Join us August 19 at 7:00 p.m. for our final YA event of the summer - a pool party at 3625 Greenbrier Drive!! Feel free to grab dinner beforehand and invite your friends! Hop in the pool, play yard games, or just hang out and enjoy the fellowship. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Join us on August 21 at 6:00 p.m. for the annual New Student Welcome Party in partnership with RUF-International at SMU. This fun, family-friendly event is a great way to extend biblical hospitality to new international students from all over the world. We will have dinner, new friendships, and a furniture giveaway to help set up their new apartments.

Communicants Class Required Parent Intro Meeting

PCPC will offer Communicant classes (September 13-October 25) for children 3rd-8th grades and high school students 9th-12th grades. This meeting on August 23 or August 30 at 11:00 a.m. is a pre-requisite for parents of children 3rd-8th grade and highly recommended for parents of high school students who would like to participate in the 6-week Communicants class and seek admission to the Lord’s Table at PCPC.

Men's Night of Worship

Men, we want you to join us for our Night of Worship on Thursday, August 27. We’re coming together to enjoy fellowship, to encourage one another as men, and to worship our Lord and King.

We’ll have dinner in Fellowship Hall at 6:30 p.m. (registration required) and a time of worship and prayer at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary (no registration required).

Please register by August 24 at 12:00 p.m. for the sake of ordering food.

Assistant Pastor Installation & Luncheon

We will install Assistant Pastors Dustin Hunt (Pastor of Church Planting) and Dr. Mark McDowell (Theologian in Residence) during our 9:30 & 11:00 a.m. morning worship on Sunday, August 30.

Please register for the luncheon in Fellowship Hall celebrating Dustin and Mark’s installation following the 11:00 a.m. service.

PCPC Women: Night of Worship & Prayer

Begin this school year with us in fellowship, prayer, and worship. PCPC Women will start this fall season by gathering on September 9 to worship our God who dwells with us. We would love to see new and familiar faces and chat, eat good food, and tell you all about our Bible studies and events coming up this year. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. (Fellowship Hall). After dinner, join us in the Chapel at 7:00 p.m. for prayer and worship.

PCPC Women: Night of Worship & Prayer

Serve Saturday

Serve Saturday is a monthly, church-wide volunteer opportunity. The purpose is to encourage PCPC members in regular rhythms of service and to streamline and coordinate existing service opportunities. Serve Saturday is (generally speaking) the 2nd Saturday of each month. Serve Saturday is collaborative and multi-departmental, pulling together existing service opportunities into a cohesive schedule.

Companion Course on Prayer

The Companion and its first-ever course this fall are intended to give you space to slow down and consider more deeply what it means to know and enjoy God. On Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary, Mark Davis, together with Resident Theologian Dr. Mark McDowell, will walk us through the Lord’s Prayer, paying careful attention to how prayer should shape our everyday lives. Join us each week for a time of learning and praying together.

Companion Course on Prayer

Second Grade Bibles

The Elementary Ministry invites all second graders and their families to this special occasion at PCPC on September 27. Second graders will receive their name-engraved Bible during a special ceremony. A continental-style breakfast will be available for participating families starting at 8:30 a.m. After the Bible ceremony, all second graders and their families are encouraged to attend the 9:30 a.m. worship service, where the students will be recognized for this significant milestone.

Middle School Fall Retreat 2026

Fall Retreat is a weekend trip on October 2-4 at Sky Ranch in Van, Texas for middle schoolers (6th-8th grade). It’s designed to help students go deeper in their relationship with Jesus and with each other. It is an opportunity to get away from typical routines and make memories, have fun, build friendships, and disconnect from the world for a weekend.
